CudaCam by Barracuda Networks is a cloud based security camera system. The project required new packaging for the camera line along with the roll out of the new product identity. The “Bullet” camera utilized a sleeve style package to slide over the existing shipping box. This type of packaging was very cost effective to produce and met the project requirements. The “Dome” camera used a full box design to meet other project constraints. Both designs took advantage of large product photography (also done in-house) to help identify each model and give distributors a way to easily identify what was on-hand. The design was aimed at B2B usage but could also look fresh and edgy in a store front environment. Full packaging mockups were created for executive review before final production run.
